Men’s Orgasm

mens orgasm Mens OrgasmWe have written this section in an effort to explain the male orgasm so that women can understand what exactly happens to a man during orgasm & maybe give them some insight on this subject. Overall, by de-mystifying both the female & male orgasm somewhat we hope to open the minds & educate both lovers so that each can have a better understanding of their lovers desires & needs & become more sensitive to each others needs. We would ask that both lovers read each orgasm section & discuss what they feel before, during & after an orgasm.

These accounts of the sensations during orgasm are derived from different men & may not be exactly what you feel during orgasm, so take the time to explain your personal sensations to your lover. This communication between you could lead to changes in your sexual practices by both parties, leading to a more pleasurable experience for both.

A Stiff Breeze

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard a woman say “men get excited from a stiff breeze”. You know what, their usually right! Men are extremely sexual creatures & are easily aroused. The main reason for this is the fact that men are visually stimulated far easier than most women. A good looking woman walking down the street, a glimpse of a bikini or sometimes even a walk through the women’s lingerie section can have a man frustrated to no ends. A fault?, I don’t think so but indeed a fact. Another fact many women don’t understand is that when most men become excited they are overcome by an absolute urgency, nay a demand from their body to do something about it. I could almost compare it to drug dependency, your body says now & usually will not stop until you’ve taken care of it.

If a man is in fact highly aroused & attempts to ignore it there could be serious consequences. In particular I refer to the not so medical term of Blue Balls. The only thing I could even think to equate this to for a woman is being kicked in the groin. This condition can literally become so painful a man may not be able to walk. Now I’m not saying that every time a man gets excited he must follow through with it, but if overly stimulated without orgasm this condition may occur. Pain may also be experienced if a man is aroused several times without orgasm.

The Male Orgasm

Once a man is excited & starts to move towards an orgasm he usually will block out the entire world. The heartbeat races, breath shortens & body tenses. A man will go through stages of excitement similar to a woman until he hits what we will call the point of no return. This is a place where orgasm is inevitable, even without further stimulation. With each stage of excitement so comes an urgency to reach orgasm. The penis & mind insist on more & more vigorous stimulation until finally a man will not be able to stop for anything.

A man’s penis will continue to swell with blood during this entire process & may literally become hard as rock just prior to orgasm. As an orgasm occurs most men will completely stiffen their body & some will hold their breath. The feeling is that of absolute relief, almost like having the weight of the world lifted from your shoulders. I know this may be a bit hard to comprehend so I will attempt to explain with an analogy. Imagine waking up knowing you had a very difficult dentist appointment at the end of the day. You have to spend your entire day thinking about the pain you may have to endure. It builds all day long creating butterflies in your stomach & feelings of dread. You go to the dentist’s office & sit in the waiting room, watching others leave in pain. Your nervousness has you sweating & almost ready to run for the door. You enter his office & sit in the chair, sweating bullets. He enters & smiles & tells you to relax, yeah right! He looks in your mouth & stops, smiles, looks at you & says “Looks like we won’t have to do this operation after all!” You’ve just felt a male orgasm!

The male orgasm will also include waves of sensations throughout the entire body that may actually make him quiver. Goose bumps or ticklishness may also accompany these waves. Personally even something as simple as a light breath on my neck right after orgasm will cause me to bounce off of the ceiling. These sensations may last for seconds or even minutes as the orgasm is finished. The penis of many men will become so sensitive after an orgasm that it cannot tolerate any further stimulation……….then it’s gone, just like that. (read on)

Aftermath (or What Do You Mean You Want to Snuggle?)

Ah yes the dreaded aftermath, misunderstood by countless people for centuries. The stuff that great arguments are made of. What most men experience once their orgasm is over should be considered a crime, but alas it is a fact truer than true. When an average man is finished with the quivers & quakes, shakes & spasms it is almost like someone flipped off the switch. Don’t ask me to explain why, they should fund a government study to find out.

Most women cannot understand why their man doesn’t want to snuggle or smooch. Well ladies, I’m not saying it is right but the cold hard fact of nature is that most men’s switches are so far off the only thing they can think of is food, sleep, TV or maybe even work!?! It is almost like waking up from a coma & wondering where the heck you are. God can be very cruel in his little “jokes” & I equate this one to the duck-billed platypus. Understanding this twisted little piece of nature along with your man’s willingness to come to a happy medium can do wonders for both lover’s sanity.

The next little sick joke played on most men by nature is the fact that most men cannot achieve an erection for some time after having an orgasm. Time will vary from man to man but it usually runs from 15 minutes to a couple of hours. Some men have the ability to have sex over & over, never seeming to tire, but that is the exception more than the rule. Usually the penis will return to it’s normal flaccid state within minutes of an orgasm & no amount of coaxing will get its attention. That is how drastic the changes can be in the male body, from exited at a stiff breeze to dead & buried with no hope of resuscitation.

You guys really amaze me with excuses such as “a man is just a man” so to speak! You expect us to respect your bodily functions, but you sure seem very selfish by not wanting to show some TLC to us gals after you boys have had your way with us by getting laid! I truly don’t think that a little affection is not going to be so horrifically exerting physically for you, unless you “men” are that lazy! You demand us to understand you wants, and 95% of what you all ask for are wants and not needs, yet you refuse to respect or understand what we would like or need from sex! Oh, and by the way, right above where my name is you’re ordering me to “Be nice. Keep it clean. Stay on topic. No spam,” when you’re ones to talk! Maybe you should look in the mirror and practice being nice and keeping it clean! It’s just really unbelievable that nobody takes women seriously! If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s when we’ve been sexually assaulted and the first thing that comes out of everybody’s mouth is, “Did you lead him on?” For once I would love to hear somebody ask a guy, “Why can’t you learn to control your testosterone levels and quit making excuses that her appearance or body language made me do it?” If you honestly wanted me to be sweet and spotless when sending this message, then don’t publish sexist articles such as this by trying to make others feel like you boys are victims because of women and that you have all the sexual rights in the universe and we don’t matter!

Now that was a mouthful. Jackie must have never experienced good sex or she wouldn’t be so bitter!

ok, so everytime i am with my guy, and he does all this, exactly to a t what you have posted.
then one time we were together, and it took him forever to reach the orgasm. then the fluids were so few. did he already have sex with someone else. did he get himself off so he could perform for hours. why dont i ask him you ask. well, in the 6 years i have been with him he has always been so “to the point of no return” I know how he is and this one time he performed much differently. i enjoyed it because it went on and on and he could penetrate without reaching an orgasm. he told me because his mind was so busy thinking. what i was thinking is had already had his orgasm somewhere else. i would like to think that it was by himself, but my instinct tells me different. if he had not had sex for a week, (long distance relationship) then he would not of been able to perform in such a manner and the end result would of been more exclaimed i feel. ANYONE WANT TO COMMENT? thank you for your thoughts and honesty.

  • April says:

Patti, there could be so many reasons why he’s lasting longer. I know it’s hard but you should try not to jump to an conclusions. Has he given you any other reason not to trust him?

Thank you for your point of view…it sucks that most men and women are so different when it comes to climaxing and the after effects but i believe alot of it can be over come with a little communication…it is a little offensive what you wrote but only because you are a man and I a woman…but I do believe there is nothing but truth in your article and not out of cruelty just out of the way God made us maybe or maybe even how society has trained us…either way it was nice to hear a mans side and it really helped me to understand why my husband may act the way he does after sex and during sex…so I appreciate your honesty
