Sexual Advice Column

Have you ever written into a newspaper or magazine advice column like this one? If you have, was the advice you received useful or did you find it just written for the titillation it gave to the readers?

I have never written to an advice column. When it comes to sex, I think the situation would have to be very unique and I would have to be in need of expert advice to prompt me to write for help. Thankfully, I haven't found myself in that situation...yet

Thinking about it, I'm just wondering now if any of these letters are even genuine or are they invented by the newspapers and magazines just so that they can get readers hooked on the stories!

I have read just a few of those letters, and I think that like porn pictures and porn videos they are scripted and edited to suit the purpose...

I have never written to an advice column and I don't think that I would sex is a highly personal matter between two people and they are the ones that should be discussing the problems that they have. I think a great many of the letters are made up to try and help sell more subscriptions.
