Post Sex is a leading cause of getting RSI

according to the new report, sexual intercourse can cause the condition because the hands become repeatedly extended under the weight of the body.

Chartered physiotherapist Sammy Margo says: "This is entirely plausible. Research does show that we are having a lot more sex than we used to and people are trying different positions.

"The missionary position puts a lot of pressure on the wrists of the individual on top. That can result in an over-straining and stretching and even tearing of tissue which could contribute to carpal tunnel syndrome."
Of course the source is that fine journalistic institution The Sun but still it made me chuckle!

I laughed out loud at this one. Just imagine going to your doctor with a pain in your wrist. As he examines all the causes I doubt very much whether one of the questions he asks will be, "And do you often use the missionary position when you have sex?" Lol!

I remember reading a news story a few years ago about a phone sex operator who was suing her former employer because she had carpal tunnel. She blamed her job because she said she got carpal tunnel due to masturbating so much. Too funny.
