All fights?

Not all fights end with makeup sex and its not always right away, right? At the moment we are all stressed and have been dealing with a ton, but the last thing on my mind really is making up. I can be grumpy for a tad bit or is there a time limit to makeup sex?

Well for us I'd say there is about a 3 day expiration period on make-up sex anything longer than that and the problem tends to get worse or can lead to a bigger fight just because you are grumpy and there is still tension between you.

We don`t have make up sex. We also don`t believe in the saying about don`t go to bed angry. We have to have a time out. Then we both are calm and usually can both admit where we were wrong.

The first year after we had our baby was super stressful and there were long periods without sex or makeup sex. It's really difficult when this sort of thing happens, but we found that when we finally managed to sort things out (and the baby started to sleep at night ;-) and we felt better about our relationship overall, the sex totally improved! So it may not be makeup sex, but it's better sex than it was before. I'll take that!

Sure, you can make-up sex whenever you choose to. It's going to be a big relief when you do, but don't do it until you are ready! I don't think make-up sex helps with fights, it's a way to get close again after the fight- but when you are ready!
