had a child-free evening

Last night was wonderful! My sister took the baby for the evening so my hubby and I could have some free time. It was so nice...we went out to dinner, came back and popped in a mildly adult movie. Played around right there in the living room (haven't done that for a while) and had time to shower together before she returned. Boy, did we need that!!

Good for you. I think some new parents forget what being an adult is about after awhile. I've always head "date night" is good for a marriage, with or without kids.

That is great for you!! Just don't forget to have a date every now and then and to get a babysitter. Quality time with the baby is important but quality time without the little one is just as important!! Any chance your are trying for a little brother or sister? LOL

Date nights are awesome but so are unexpected play times. Just get a sitter and be waiting for hubby when it gets home and let nature take it's course!
