Dryness, lubrication

I'm still breastfeeding my son (and having lactational amenorrhea), and I just cannot seem to get over dryness midway through sex, usually after my first orgasm, which makes continuing a chore for me. We start out with lube, but it seems to dry halfway through. Anyone else with this problem? solutions?

I've found regular KY to not really last long enough to keep up with me, so you can either reapply halfway through, or try something like their warming brand, it seems to last longer.

Definitely just reapply! Keep it nearby and just put a bit on your finger at some point, and reapply....no need to stop or interrupt sex with it, so no problem at all.

Are you using a wate based lubricant or a silicone based? I find water based end up dry before we're done most of the time. We started using KY's Intrigue which is silicone based (but safe for condoms) and haven't had as much of a problem. There is also a product from KY called liquibeads which is an insertable lubricant which is supposed to provide moisture for over a day, but I haven't tried it yet.
