And as for vibrating rings, we tried one once and it wasn't anything special. He didn't get anything out of the vibration at all, and I didn't really enjoy it because I had to have him all the way inside me and keep him there for the vibes to even make a difference (he's well-endowed to begin with, and then to not be moving doesn't do much for either of us).

There are definitely quite a few toys for guys out there but cutting out any anal penetration will limit your choices. There are a lot of sites online that you can order through that are completely discrete. The one I use is great.
